The Baby Nests are made in Brisbane, Australia, out of organic materials both inside and out to ensure a toxin-free space for your baby. The natural materials in our nests are all biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

After months snuggling together in the womb, we believe twins might want a place to snuggle after entering the world. The Bubnest® Twin Nest provides a healthy toxin free space for your babies to rest anywhere anytime. The babies can either snuggle up together or use the divider if one is sleepy while the other is in party mood. 

Size:  can be adjusted with the ropes, start with nest tied and open the nest as bub grows. The bolster is appx 10 cm in diameter. The mattress is appx 2.5cm thick, designed to be comfortable on any flat surface and meets the mattress firmness test for infant sleep surfaces.

Regular is approximately 70cm long and 26cm wide (most popular)
Maxi is approximately 80cm long and 26cm wide
Twin nests are approximately 70cm long and 52 cm wide

The Bubnest mattress has passed the new AS/NZS voluntary standard for infant sleep surfaces, AS/NZS 8811.1:2013.  There are no hazardous chemicals, only working with certified organic materials, no small parts which are considered choking hazard and it is made of cotton which is breathable. The rope is just long enough to tie up at the bottom when pulled tight, but once open there is only 2cm of rope exposed. 

All fabrics are certified organic by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS is recognized as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. GOTS requires environmental monitoring as well as environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing.

The natural latex mattresses are certified organic by the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS). GOLS outlines requirements for latex products made from organic raw materials, which covers the entire production process as well as environmental management and social compliance.

The mattresses are also tested for the Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex. Oeko-Tex is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system. The natural latex mattresses have been tested for over 100 different parameters customized for our product based on the production process and materials used.

WARNING:
This is a baby product and with all things baby, use with caution and trust your instincts. Common sense and intuition are something we encourage strongly. If it doesn’t feel safe it probably isn’t. 

• Never leave your baby unattended or under a child's supervision.

• Healthy babies should always be put to sleep on their back, to reduce the risk of SIDS.

• Bub’s head should always be placed towards the top of the baby nest, away from the ropes. 

• Do not put pillows in the baby nest.

• When the nest is open, make sure the ropes are pulled in entirely.

• When the baby nest is pulled in to a tighter position, make sure the ropes are tied securely.

• Place the baby nest on a flat hard surface and don’t place it on anything it could fall from.

• Don’t place close to fire.

• Don’t use the baby nest as a toy.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: The Bubnest baby nest consists of three parts which are cleaned separately - a cover, a bolster and a mattress. The cover and the bolster are made out of GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton, and the mattress out of GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) certified natural latex.

Before wash, open the nest at the bottom and gently untuck the mattress from the inner pocket. Pull out the mattress. Unzip the zipper on the inside of the cover to access the bolster. Gently untuck the ends of the bolster from the cover and pull out the entire bolster.

The cover:  Machine wash below 30°C, tumble dry low or air dry

The mattress: Hand wash with mild soap by squeezing soiled area, air dry in shade

The bolster:  Untie the ribbons and spot wash soiled area, air dry in full sun. Do not leave damp as the unbleached and untreated organic wadding might stain the bolster. The stains will go out when washed again. Use your hands to separate and fluff up the washed wadding if needed once dry.

The nest likes fresh air and sunshine. Never leave the nest damp for a long time as mould may develop, therefore keep an eye out for wet spots and make sure the nest stays dry. Liners are good for absorbing the occasional baby juice and are easy to wash.

The organic cotton does not contain any harmful chemicals to improve the performance of the material. Your bub can rest in a chemical free, safe environment, which was created with your bub’s health in mind.
